Dumpling ramen with noodles, spinach, soft boiled eggs, and broth in a white ceramic bowl on white marble.

Dumpling Ramen Bowl combines tender dumplings, instant ramen, spinach, and soft boiled eggs in a savory chicken broth with soy sauce and sesame oil. It comes together in 40 minutes for a cozy lunch or easy dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 frozen dumplings
  • 2 packages instant ramen noodles
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and carefully add the eggs. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes, then transfer them to an ice bath. Cool, peel, and halve.
  2. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer. Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil.
  3. Add the frozen dumplings to the simmering broth. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, until they float and are heated through.
  4. Add the ramen noodles and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until tender.
  5. Stir in the spinach and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until bright green and tender.
  6. Divide the noodles, dumplings, and spinach between two bowls. Ladle in the broth and top with the halved eggs, green onions, and black sesame seeds.

Notes

  • Store the broth, dumplings, and noodles separately in the refrigerator for up to 2 days to keep the noodles from getting mushy.
  • Refrigerate peeled eggs separately and eat within 1 day.
  • Adjust the soy sauce to taste, since saltiness varies by brand.
